This whisky was personally selected by the Master Distiller as the purest achievement of the Bourbon making art. It embraces all the qualities of a truly great Bourbon, bottled un-blended to preserve its individuality and vintage dated as a measure of its maturity. Typically, Bourbon is a blend of many barrels. Bourbon bottles from a single barrel is categorised as Single barrel Bourbon. Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon, however, is much more. It's the only Single Barrel Bourbon bottled with a vintage date to provide proof of age and the subtle year-to-year distinctions found in fine wines. What a difference a date makes.
